While reading up on recent promotional modeling news, we ran into an interesting article written by Precious Mills- Music Festival seeks more than pretty face in Promotional Models. In summation, this article talks about a recent casting call for the St. Kitts Music Festival that sought to hire promotional models for their inner beauty instead of solely based on their physical appearance.

With all of the negatively that tends to surround the promotional modeling industry, this article focuses on a direction that we love to encourage. While the women and men we work with here at Vantage Advertising are physically attractive, what is more important to us, above all else, is their experience level, professionalism, intelligence, and independence. Therefore, we strive to take our time getting to know each of our promotional models before they work events for us. From Atlanta trade show models, to San Francisco spokes models we build relationships and establish trust with our hard working talent.

The way that the St. Kitts Music Festival Committee recruited their promotional models offers a positive example for other festivals to follow. It is our hope that other festivals become inspired by St. Kitts’ actions and seek promotional models for reasons other than their physical appearance. 

It is high time promotional models, trade show models, and brand ambassadors are recognized first for their personality traits and experience level and then their physical appearance.
