Things to consider before booking your next model !
1. Setting a budget
before booking your models.
-To table of Contents-
It's
always a good idea to have a ball park budget for your model staffing
before contacting an agency. There are several factors that
should be considered to determine this.
A. What would it cost to instead fly your own employees to
the event and to provide lodging and food?
-By
hiring models through us, there are no additional costs except parking
reimbursement. This will almost always make hiring models
less
expensive than bringing your own employees.
B.
Consider the Opportunity Cost!
- How much more business
can you drum up by increasing your promotional staff?
- Will the increase in sales leads outweigh the cost of hiring models?
- Is the additional cost of models needed to create energy at your
event?
C. What type of model do you need for your event?
- Models who are better
at generating leads and increasing sales will have a higher hourly
rate.
- Models best suited for greeting customers and handing out items will
have a lower hourly rate.
2. Decide what you need
the models to do.
Have
a clear picture of what you would like to have the models do at your
event so that you can communicate this to your account manager.
They
will be able to offer recommendations as to what price level will best
suit your project.
A. For a full description of the different roles of our
models, visit the MODELS
page. You may need models to play a significant part in
generating leads and drawing customers to your booth, or you
may
only need a pleasant smile with a warm greeting.
B. Have an idea for attire as well. Not all models
will be
comfortable in swimsuits and bikini's. Consider the
demographics
of the customers at your event or trade show and how you want your
company portrayed.
3. Know the agency you
are booking models through.
With
so many modeling agencies in the game today, it is difficult to
differentiate one from the other. It becomes that much more
important to know the agency you are booking your promo models through.
Here are a few things to pay attention to:
A. Are their
models displayed on their website for clients to view?
-
If a modeling company does not display their models online, it is
likely they do not have many that they have a strong relationship with.
More times than not, they will simply post ads after
receiving a
model request and will book models that they have never worked with
before. This can result in a disaster for your promotional
event.
B. What is there list of clients, testimonials?
-
Always be sure to check the agencies list of clients and testimonials.
If a model agency does not display this, it is likely they
are
new to the game and have very little experience in the trade show and
promotional field.
C. Call the agency to speak to an actual person!
-
We understand the need for speed in completing your promotional event,
but take the time to call and speak with someone from the agency you
are booking your promo models through. This way you can guage
their professionalism and get a good idea on how your account will be
handled. Booking your trade show models or promotional models
is
no task to trust just any modeling company with.
Many
clients turn to us after having had a poor experience with another
event staffing agency. Unfortunately, this is all too common.
Due
to
the lack of oversight, many businesses book promo models with agencies
run out of household kitchens. Do your due diligence and question your
potential business partner, it's worth saving the headaches.
Why choose Us?
1. Our
Experience.
-To table of Contents-
The
owner of Models 4 Trade Shows brings with him the experience of running
one of the nations leading modeling agencies for promotions, trade
shows, and conventions. After teaming up with Model Talent
Orlando, one of Central Florida's largest staffing agencies, we have
become one of the most recognized agencies in the country.
Our clients know us for our prompt service, attention to detail, and
our commitment to making your event unforgettable. Unlike
most
other model companies, the owner personally oversees every account.
We prefer not to spread ourselves too thin by sacrificing
customer service. Instead, we treat every client like our
only
client, ensuring they come back to us year after year.
We realize it takes much less time, money, and energy, to keep the
clients you do have, rather than always being on the hunt for new
clients.
2.
Who you book is who shows up on the day of your event!
One
complaint we hear often from first time clients is that through their
previous model agency, the models they booked, were not the models that
showed up come the day of the convention or promotional event.
Models 4 Trade Shows will only present the models that have
confirmed availability for your specific show dates. Once
selected, our models are contractually obligated to arrive on time and
perform the said duties. There are of course unforeseen
circumstances that can arise. Here are a few and how Models 4
Trade Shows handles them.
A.
In the time between booking the model and the day of the
event,
the model becomes unavailable due to moving, career change, school, or
any other personal circumstance.
-
In this case, Models 4 Trade Shows will contact you as soon as this is
brought to our attention. We are in constant communication
with
our models. We will notify you of the situation and provide
you
with alternatives. At this point you may choose to book one
of
the new models, or to cancel the contract with no penalty.
B. An accident
or personal emergency occurs the day of the event.
-
If this happens the day of the promotion and the booked model will be
unable to show, we will have our alternate arrive ASAP. We
will
notify you on what has happened, and do our absolute best to correct
the situation. Our first priority is to fill the empty shoes.
After the day is complete, we will talk about where to go
from
here and if refunds need to be issued.
C. The model
you booked does not look like the pictures you viewed.
- This is another common
complaint we hear from clients from their
experience with other trade show staffing and promotional agencies.
This is unacceptable to us. We make our models
provide
candid photos as well so that you know exactly who you are booking.
3.
Our relationship with our models.
A
significant factor that separates Models 4 Trade Shows from all other
promotional agencies is our relationship with our models. Other promo
companies are in the industry to maximize profit, and to do this as
quickly as possible. We have a different philosophy, which
defines our company.
A. We pay our
models more, and take a lower percentage as booking fees.
-
In doing this, our models take their bookings very seriously.
They know if they have one hick-up with us, they will not
receive
any future casting calls. By offering higher pay, we are able
to
provide only the most professional models at all levels for our
clients. We are known throughout the modeling community for
the
hourly rates we pay our models.
B. We are in
constant communication with our models.
-
This allows us to build trust with our modeling teams in every city
across the country. Many model agencies staff so many
different
models, they never build a relationship with any of them, and this
increases the likelihood for no shows, and unsatisfied clients.
Rates and Booking Process

Our rate structure.
-To table of Contents-
Our

There is no project too big or too small. We at

fit figure and warm smile.

give away our rate structure to our competitors. Whatever
