Meet the Team
With his entrepreneurial ambition, David Gascon has successful created multiple startup companies since graduating from the State University of New York College at Geneseo. In the spring of 2008, while pursuing his master’s degree in Economics from the University of Albany, he founded Vantage Advertising. The concept was developed around the idea that by matching a business’s marketing goals with the specific skills & abilities of booth professionals, businesses would see a significant increase in the return on their trade show investments. Today Vantage Advertising is a nationwide organization that delivers event staffing solutions for major brands such as Pepsi, Filter Magazine, Arizona Beverages, and Samsung.
Brendan graduated from the State Univeristy of New York College at Geneseo was a bachlors degree in Business Administration. Soon after graduation, he moved to eastern Long Island, where he spent the next 4 years working in luxury real estate and retail banking. In 2011, Brendan moved back home to Rochester, NY and joined the Vantage Advertising team. His experience in providing top notch customer service to high end clients, gives him the experience and knowlegde required to staff events through out the North East and Mid Atlantic. In his free time, Brendan enjoys hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and performing music.
Margaret Colebeck joined Vantage Advertising in 2011 after graduating with a duel Bachelor of the Arts degree in Communications and in English. She quickly joined the Marketing Team and became passionate about Online Marketing. The majority of her days are spent learning and actively engaging in SEO, SMO, and Content Marketing. Devoted to learning, you can almost always find her with her nose in a book or participating in Online Marketing Webinars. On her days off, Margaret enjoys volunteering at local animal shelters, catching up on the latest films, and reading Young Adult Literature
Ben Rossi is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo, who brings more than a decade of experience in the events industry to Vantage Advertising. He has an extensive background in production, event management & customer relations. Having been with Vantage Advertising since 2009, Ben has been successful at developing client relations and improving the booking process to make it easier for his clients.
Gretchen received her Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Brockport in Mathematics Education, and began her teaching career in the Rochester, New York area, teaching mathematics and computer programming classes. Because her desire to work within the application aspect of mathematics, she started to pursue coursework at the Rochester Institute of Technology. She completed her Master’s degree in Applied Statistics, after which she became an adjunct faculty member at Monroe Community College. Her professional life took a major shift when her family moved. She became part of the business world, working in various arenas as an independent contractor. She has worked in tax preparation and holds an Enrolled Agent certification from the IRS. She has facilitated classes for corporate clients as well as local colleges for various computer applications, with a specialization in the development of spreadsheet and database technology.
